About REACH Clinical and Translational Research (CTR)
The SUNY REACH CTR program is building cross-SUNY access to multicenter clinical research resources:- Faculty experts in the full array of biomedical specialties (Participants)
- REACH Facilitated IRB Program
- A large and diverse Research Participant Base that covers much of New York State
The SUNY REACH CTR Leadership Team is comprised of members representing all five REACH campuses and a variety of clinical and administrative backgrounds. The Team is building a framework for ongoing clinical research collaborations by placing REACH Liaisons in each campus Clinical Trials Office.
Current REACH CTR Projects include:- SUNY Stroke Prevention Program to address health disparities in underserved populations
- SUNY Neurology Research Team to foster new multicampus biomedical research projects
- SUNY NEXT funded by NINDS to develop and run neurology trials exclusive to NeuroNEXT members
